End of an Era

For years I had been looking forward to leaving school. The thought of never having to set foot in an undercover prison after sleepless nights on the internet appealed to me, but then it finally happened. I had to walk the beige coloured corridors, and attend classes for the final time, I also had to say farewell to my teachers and fellow students, some of whom I must admit I'm grateful never to have to see again.
If I'm being 100% honest, The whole leaving school thing was genuinely so much harder than I ever thought. I never thought it was going to be so hard to say goodbye to a poorly strung together routine of waking up feeling crap, getting ready, going to school, walking the corridors, entering the lounge, going to reg, going to a lesson, back to the lounge, eating, going to shop, eat, lesson, home, art, repeat.
